About this position
Position Description
Working under general supervision in Perioperative Services, assists with ordering surgical supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory PAR levels on a daily basis. Sort daily supply deliveries, rotate and replenish stock items, advise supervisor of delivery/purchasing errors; pull and process outdated supply items. Store supplies in a neat, clean, and orderly manner; breakdown and remove cardboard packaging and shipping materials. Perform other duties as assigned. This posting is for two (2) evening schedule positions.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years of Perioperative and/or hospital supply experience Minimum of two (2) years of Materials Management experience Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to this position.
