About this position

Position Description

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Histotechnologist performs technical histology tasks and procedures, including tissue processing, tissue embedding, microtomy, staining, immunofluorescence, accessioning, equipment preventive maintenance, quality control, immunohistochemistry, inventory, supply ordering, data gathering/reports, slide and FFPE block filing/retrieval, and other histology-related duties. This posting shall remain open until filled.

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of experience as a histotechnologist within a pathology laboratory.
