Position Description
Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Provides laboratory services on time and consistently delivers excellent customer service. Serves as a technical resource for customers and other staff. Adheres to all safety policies.
Qualifications
Graduation from college with a major in an appropriate scientific field. Two (2) or more years of relevant experience. Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or approved subspecialty license issued by the State of California Department of Public Health. Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position.
