The Project Coordinator supports complex, cross-functional initiatives aligned with enterprise strategic priorities, including system-wide growth and access, acute care transformation, operating efficiency, and workflow improvements. This role combines analytical problem-solving, structured project management, and change management support to drive measurable outcomes. The candidate demonstrates skill in independently assessing problems, identifying root causes, and supporting development and execution of actionable solutions across matrixed stakeholder environments. Operating within the unique complexities of an academic medical center, this role requires the ability to balance clinical, operational, research, and educational priorities while navigating diverse stakeholder groups. The position applies organizational development and consulting practices to address moderate to complex challenges, using sound judgment to evaluate situations and determine appropriate methods for resolution. While guidance is provided on new assignments and uniquely complex or strategic topics, the incumbent is expected to work with a high degree of autonomy in planning, analysis, and execution. Key Responsibilities: Leads and supports end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives by developing project plans, coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of measurable results. Conducts structured analysis to assess organizational and operational challenges, identify root causes, and develop data-informed recommendations and action plans that align with enterprise priorities. Applies organizational consulting, process improvement, and change management principles to drive stakeholder alignment, support adoption, and sustain improvements across a matrixed academic medical center environment.

Qualifications

Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Experience and proven success in organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions. Has thorough knowledge of the organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions. Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, project planning and implementation skills. Skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building. Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained. Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision. Ability to coach, facilitate, and influence people.
