Position Description

The Mobile Health Support Specialist is a dynamic, community-facing role responsible for supporting mobile clinic operations and delivering an excellent patient and partner experience at service sites. This role plays a key role in outreach, patient engagement, and on-site coordination, while collaborating closely with the mobile health team to ensure efficient, welcoming, and high-quality care delivery. The Mobile Health Support Specialist also supports the setup, breakdown, and readiness of the mobile clinic, including ensuring supplies are stocked, spaces are clean and functional, and daily operational checklists are completed. While vehicle operation is part of the role, it is one component of a broader set of responsibilities focused on supporting clinic accessibility and continuity of services. In addition, the Mobile Health Support Specialist contributes to maintaining a safe environment by observing and reporting safety concerns, supporting site awareness, and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies in alignment with organizational protocol; interacts professionally with all individuals, including managing challenging situations with de-escalation techniques and sound judgment; adheres to organizational and departmental quality and service standards and may perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the mobile health program.

Qualifications

Valid CA driver's license and have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures. Must commit to obtaining a Commercial License within first 6 months of employment. Must be a minimum of 25 years of age. Four (4) years of relevant experience. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to keep information confidential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must demonstrate and always use customer friendly demeanor and etiquette. Ability to work with diverse individuals and those from historically marginalized backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks. Ability to remain calm, focused, and helpful under stress. Possess excellent communication skills and ability to follow through with assigned tasks.
