Position Description
Front Desk Coordinator will provide superb customer service while ensuring accurate demographic, forms, insurance information is entered into the system. Will collect co-pays, keep patients aware of any delays, and check patients out after their appointment. This person will also coordinate authorizations, scheduling, and messages.
Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years customer service experience and recent admissions/registration experience in a large, complex healthcare setting. Experience with registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification. Knowledge of third-party payors including federal, state and private health plans. Must have excellent communication skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
