Position Description

Under general supervision, the employee provides educational instruction to prenatal patients. Performs case management and chart EPIC loading for all obstetrical patients from various Women's Health Services location.

Qualifications

Associates degree in business, healthcare administration or related area, and / or equivalent combination of experience / training. Continuing education in related field. Two (2) or more years of Experience in OBGYN working with/providing health education to the prenatal population in a large, complex healthcare setting. Working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives. Working knowledge of delivering community educational programs. Working knowledge of current community education programs and trends. Working skills to produce and deliver programs. Working knowledge of conducting needs assessment. Good analytical skills to understand how business needs can be addressed through the development and delivery of training programs. Good reading, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and good presentation skills. Skill in using business software systems in the completion of work assignments; i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
