Position Description
Under general direction of Nursing Administration Management, responsible for providing bedside staff as required by the patient acuity system. Accurately maintains personnel database (ANSOS). Assures working staff has required credentials on file. Adjudicate all contract labor invoices. As required, provides cross coverage with established team members and clinical and decedent affair coordinator as determined by management. The duties include, but are not limited to facilitating care through discussing postmortem process with legal next of kin, obtaining legal consent, and utilizing EMR systems for review and identification of information required by policy and guidelines; and coordinating various aspects of decedent affairs including, documentation, transportation coordination and compliance with regulatory agencies. Perform other work as requested. The shifts for this position will rotate between the 2am-10:30am shift and the 12:30pm-9pm shift.
Qualifications
Three years of relevant clinical scheduling and staffing experience. Basic computer skills with email and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
