About this position
Position Description
The Storekeeper will order, receive, inspect and store food service products, will communicate and resolve discrepancies according to UCSD policies and procedures; will establish and maintain approved storehouse systems including receiving, inventory, requisitions, etc.; will maintain all storage areas in neat, orderly, clean and sanitary condition. Position will provide stores accountability and usage in required time frame; will maintain security. Will perform a variety of duties related to storekeeper duties, according to established procedures and quality standards. Uphold all departmental sanitation and hygiene standards. Conducts food items, supplies and equipment inventory. Job standards are to be performed at the EXPERT level.
Qualifications
Previous food inventory experience. Experience with perishable and non-perishable inventory.
