Position Description
Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for the operation of patient services, retail sales facilities, catering operations, sanitation operations, and acts as a unit manager or production manager in their absence. The incumbent will also assist with training, mentoring, developing, and providing direction to junior counterparts. Independent responsibilities include operations management, customer service, leadership and cash handling. This position performs a variety of duties related to patient and retail food services. Supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Opening and closing operation in the absence of manager, management of cash deposits and safe, onboarding of new team members.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certification/experience. Three (3) or more years of relevant(food/retail/sanitation)experience. Experience and working knowledge in food service and sanitation regulations. Exhibits verbal and written communication skills in the English language, including active listening, dynamic flexibility, critical thinking, and ability to multi-task and ensure productive time management. Knowledge to make appropriate decisions, reasoning skills, ability to develop original ideas to solve problems, and conduct basic operations analysis and quality control analysis. Demonstrates basic computer application skills to include food service applications such as point of sale, CBORD, and inventory control software. Demonstrates basic mathematical and cash control skills to accurately complete drawer counts and prepare deposits.
