About this position
Position Description
Working under general supervision in Perioperative Services, assists with ordering surgical supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory PAR levels on a daily basis. Sort daily supply deliveries, rotate and replenish stock items, advise supervisor of delivery/purchasing errors; pull and process outdated supply items. Store supplies in a neat, clean, and orderly manner; breakdown and remove cardboard packaging and shipping materials. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of appropriate/related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Recent experience in a customer service role, preferably in a large, complex healthcare environment. Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to this position.
