At UC San Diego, we believe a job is more than just employment - it's a chance to be part of something meaningful. Along with competitive pay, we offer outstanding benefits, retirement plans, and a supportive environment that encourages both professional development and personal growth. Benefits begin on your first day! The Early Childhood Education Center employs 38 FTE, with an annual budget of over $5M. The centers must follow state licensing for student to teacher ratios and quarterly financial reporting. ECEC is self-supporting in that; we do not receive state funding and rely on tuition as our major source of revenue and must balance expenses with operations to meet budgeted objectives.
