Position Description
Under direct supervision, the Linen Service Worker is responsible for the distribution and storage of linen, scrubs and other related textiles for all departments. The duties include and are not limited to folding and consolidating clean linens and scrubs; maintaining distribution logs and recording of inventories into the system; stocking and removing of scrubs; maintaining linen room compliance standards; ensuring linen room is organized, neat and clean at all times; may assist with lab coat distribution; and performing other related duties and tasks as assigned by Management. Job standards are to be performed at the NOVICE level.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or combination of education and relevant experience. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate orally in English. Must be able to write legibly and compute basic addition and subtraction.
