Position Description
UCLA’s Civil & Environmental Engineering Department will have openings for part-time teaching positions during the academic year. Teaching positions involve classroom instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level in the following areas: • Structures • Geotechnical • Water Resources • Environmental Engineering • Earthquake Engineering • Materials Engineering • Transportation Engineering The teaching positions require a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field, with prior classroom teaching preferred. Qualifications
Basic qualificationsCandidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering or related. Department will consider work experience and teaching experience in lieu of PhD in some circumstances.
