Position Description

The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applications for a Health Sciences Assistant, Associate or Clinical Professor. Applicants must possess an M.D. degree or equivalent and be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must also be board certified in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM). Applicants should have independent practice experience with a successful track record of academic excellence, research, and publications. They should also have a dedication to academic medicine and clinical expertise in both maternal and fetal medicine, including the ability to independently perform the breadth of obstetric procedures, ultrasounds and fetal interventions. Candidates with excellent communication, administrative, and leadership experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will contribute to both clinical care of complex obstetric patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, education of trainees, quality improvement, and active participation in the Division and Department’s research mission. The position also includes outpatient clinical outreach responsibilities with the UCLA Health System in the greater Los Angeles area, and potential teleradiology services. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience, credentials and prior accomplishments. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
