Position Description

The Pharmaceutical Policy & Outcomes Lab at UCLA is seeking to hire a postdoctoral research fellow. The lab is directed by Dr. William Feldman, and focuses on research at the intersection of medicine, health policy, and law. Particular areas of interest include Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation, pharmaceutical pricing, intellectual property, and real-world evidence. Postdoctoral fellows in the lab will contribute to ongoing research and lead self-directed projects in areas of overlapping interest. The lab relies on a range of data sources for different research projects, from publicly available FDA data to longitudinal health insurance claims datasets. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. in public health, an M.D., or a J.D. Competitive applicants will have a background in basic biostatistics and a track record of publishing in high-impact medical or health policy journals. Qualifications

Basic qualificationsA Ph.D. in public health, an M.D., or a J.D. is required. Preferred qualificationsA background in basic biostatistics and a track record of publishing in high-impact medical or health policy journals is preferred.
