Position Description
Instructors must be available to teach in person on the UCLA Westwood campus. UCLA Extension is considered one of the top programs of its kind, offering to more than 35,000 students per year approximately 4,500 classes and non-degree certificate programs to meet the professional development, continuing education, and personal enrichment needs of the full spectrum of nontraditional students as well as companies and organizations throughout and beyond the Los Angeles region.
Qualifications
Basic qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience, such as: SOC Analyst Security Engineer Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker Cloud Security Specialist Network Security Administrator Cybersecurity Consultant Strong hands‑on experience with security tools, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, NIST CSF, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK) Availability to teach in person on the UCLA Westwood campus.
